Karma Baker. A warm and upbeat soul that joined The Grizzly Bare in October of 2010 and very quickly became a favorite among our clients! Karma is a talented Waxologist and for those of you who have not had the privilege to hear her sing, she is also an amazing artist – singer for the groups Sick Kids XOXO and Fat Cats of Augusta.
It is with great sadness that I break the news that Karma will be moving away on May 17th. Luckily for you, she is still available for appointments until this date! She will be sorely missed but I know that exciting things will come her way. I wish her ALL the best in her new adventure!

Toole Avenue just keeps getting better and better!
A few months ago there was an empty field next to The Warehouse Mall (where we are) and an almost empty building behind us. Now we have Missoula’s newest microbrewery, Draught Works, and the up-and-coming Morgan Building made up of offices and high-end apartments for neighbors! Construction is still underway for the Morgan Building but it’s been exciting to see the fast progress of this exciting new structure that is due to open this fall. If you haven’t been to Draught Works, you should! It’s a great place to grab a beer, and it’s family friendly, too!

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season and brought in the New Year with a bang. Although I wasn’t at the Studio much through the holidays it has been booming and busy as always in there.
I know this post is a little late, but I wanted to announce the arrival of my sweet little man, Austin! He was born on November 1st at 11:40am, weighing 5lbs 2oz and was 18 inches long. He’s growing fast and changing every day. So far parenthood has been an adventure filled with ups and downs and more love than I could imagine. What a trip!
I’m going to be one of *those* parents and attach a photo of him for all to see. 
Austin is just one month old in this shot.

The countdown is definitely on!
With less than 4 weeks until the expected November 23rd due date of our baby boy, and words from our doctor that this little guy is most likely arriving early, I can’t help but feel a tiny bit like a ticking time bomb!
I’ve already had a few weeks at home where I’ve been preparing and nesting like crazy. The nursery is ready, meals are frozen, and household chores are getting done one energy burst at a time. It’s been great. But, before things get hectic, I wanted to express how I can’t help but be SUPER thankful to all of my clients who have been so understanding while I take this time away from the Studio to prepare for and spend with our new baby. Thank you! I will miss seeing you every month and hope to be back in the Spring. It does, however, help me to know that you are all in the good hands of Waxologist Karma who is there Monday to Friday to take care of all your hair removal needs. Her appointments fill up quickly so make sure to call or book online early!
